Product Introduction
The AF26158 air filter, also cross-referenced with P606122 and 2U2J-9601-BA, is an oval radial-seal primary air filter developed for selected Ford heavy-duty trucks equipped with 7.3L diesel engines.
Its pleated filtration media captures dust, sand and other airborne particles before they enter the engine. The large effective media area provides reliable dust-holding capacity while maintaining stable intake airflow. The radial-seal structure creates a secure connection with the housing and helps prevent contaminated air from bypassing the filter.

Product Case
A commercial fleet used Ford Super Duty trucks for construction-site transportation. Continuous operation in dusty conditions caused the original air filters to accumulate heavy dirt, increasing intake restriction.
During scheduled maintenance, technicians replaced the loaded elements with compatible AF26158 air filters. The new filters restored stable airflow and provided a secure radial seal. This helped improve engine intake protection and supported more reliable vehicle operation.
