Le P603577 air filter is a high-efficiency primary engine air filter designed for selected Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks and Excursion models equipped with the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine.
Its compact obround channel-flow structure provides a large effective filtration area while occupying less space than many conventional pleated filters. As intake air passes through the media, the filter captures dust, sable, suie, pollen, and other airborne contaminants before they reach the turbocharger and engine.

A fleet operator used Ford F-350 Super Duty trucks with 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engines for construction-site service work. Because the trucks frequently operated on dusty roads, their air filters accumulated large amounts of dirt and fine particles.
